Samael Aun Weor
Samael Aun Weor, born Víctor Manuel Gómez Rodríguez, was a Colombian-Mexican esoteric teacher and author who founded the Universal Gnostic Movement, authoring over 60 books on topics like spirituality, alchemy, Kabbalah, and sacred sexuality to awaken consciousness. From a young age, he explored various metaphysical traditions including Theosophy, Masonry, and yoga, publishing his seminal work 'The Perfect Matrimony' in 1950 and establishing Gnostic centers across Latin America. He taught for free, lived in poverty, and after his physical death, his followers believe he continued guiding the movement from higher dimensions.
