Salomon Resnik

Salomon Resnik (1920–2017) was an Argentinian-French psychoanalyst and psychiatrist renowned for his pioneering work in treating childhood autism and psychosis, as well as for his innovative exploration of the intersection between psychoanalysis and art. He integrated Kleinian and Lacanian perspectives, studied with prominent figures like Melanie Klein and Wilfred Bion, and held academic positions in Europe, including Paris and Venice. Resnik is celebrated for his original contributions to understanding mental space, depersonalization, and the symbolic language of dreams.
