Sally Stewart

Sally Stewart, born January 15, 1930, in London, England, worked initially at Reader's Digest before winning a magazine story competition that launched her writing career, producing novels such as A Rose for Every Month, The Women of Providence, and The Land of Nightingales. She later set up a business with her husband, became an academic, and also wrote under the pseudonym Anna Cato, including Still Lives. Her influences include Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer, and she resides in Somerset, England.
