Sally Rippin

Sally Rippin is an Australian children's author and illustrator, born in Darwin and raised in South-East Asia, who later studied traditional Chinese painting in China.[1][2] She has published over 100 books, including popular series like Billie B Brown, Hey Jack!, and School of Monsters, with more than 10 million copies in print worldwide, and serves as the 2024–2025 Australian Children's Laureate.[1][2] Her recent non-fiction work, Wild Things, draws from her experiences supporting her dyslexic and ADHD son.[3]
