Safa O. Kasap is a professor of electronic materials and devices in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan. His work focuses on amorphous semiconductors, optoelectronics, photoconductors, photodetectors, and X-ray image detectors, and he is also known as an author of widely used textbooks in electronic materials and devices.
