S. W. Sykes
S. W. Sykes (Stephen Walter Sykes, 1939–2014) was an influential Anglican theologian and bishop, best known for his work on Anglican doctrine, ecclesiology, and theology of power. He served as Bishop of Ely from 1990 to 1999 and later became principal of St John’s College, Durham, where he continued to shape theological education and debate.
