S. Scott Rohrer

S. Scott Rohrer is a historian of early America who studies the impact of religion on society and politics.[4] Born March 22, 1957, he holds a B.A. in journalism and history from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. in U.S. history from the University of Virginia.[4] His scholarly work examines religious influences on American history, including evangelicalism in the Southern backcountry, Protestantism's role in migration, and religion's connection to the American Revolution.[4]
