S E. 1868-1944 Winbolt

Samuel Edward Winbolt (1868–1944) was a British classics and history teacher, author of school textbooks, and amateur archaeologist.[1][2] He is known for works such as 'English History Source Books' and excavations of Roman villas at East Wear Bay, as well as contributing to the Penguin Guides series on English counties.[1][3][4]
