Ruth Henig

Ruth Henig, Baroness Henig (née Ruth Beatrice Munzer), was a British academic historian and Labour politician born on November 10, 1943, in Leicester, England. She specialized in Modern European History, served as an academic at Lancaster University, and was Deputy Speaker of the House of Lords from 2018 until her death. She died on February 29, 2024, in England at the age of 80.
