Russell Smith

Russell Smith is a Canadian writer, journalist, and cultural commentator born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and raised in Halifax, Canada. He is the author of novels, short stories, and essays, including *How Insensitive*, *Young Men*, and *Muriella Pent*, and has written a regular arts column for *The Globe and Mail*.[1][2][4]
