Russell K. Schutt
Russell K. Schutt is Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where he has taught since 1979, and also serves as Lecturer in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and Clinical Research Scientist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.[1][2] His research focuses on the relationship between individuals and their social environments, particularly homelessness, mental illness, public health, and organizational processes, with over 60 peer-reviewed articles and books including 'Investigating the Social World' (9th edition) and 'Homelessness, Housing, and Mental Illness'.[2][3] He earned his BA, MA, and PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1972, 1975, and 1977, respectively.[3][4]
