Russell Holden

Holden Russell (also known as Russell Holden) is an author and illustrator recognized for his chapter books including The Freight Train in the Sky (2021) and The Darkness Before the Dawn (2023), both receiving 5-star reviews from Readers' Favorite. He holds a BS in Creative Advertising from Virginia Commonwealth University and an MA in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University, and served seven years in the VA Army National Guard as a Public Affairs Specialist. Born in Watertown, NY, he settled in Richmond, VA, after living in multiple locations, with his work also featured in Prometheus Dreaming.[1][2]
