Roy Strong

Sir Roy Colin Strong is a distinguished English art historian, museum curator, writer, broadcaster, and landscape designer. He served as director of the National Portrait Gallery (1967-1973) and the Victoria and Albert Museum (1974-1987) in London. Strong is also renowned for his work as a garden designer, particularly for developing the formal garden at his Herefordshire home, The Laskett.
