Roy E. Licklider

J. C. R. Licklider (born Roy Charles Licklider) was an American computer scientist and psychologist who became a principal contributor to interactive computing and computer networking. He is best known for his influential work on man-computer symbiosis and for helping shape the research that led to modern personal computing and the Internet.
