Ross Feld

Ross Feld (1947-2001) was an American author known for his four novels—Years Out (1973), Only Shorter (1982), Shapes Mistaken, and Zwilling's Dream—and a collection of poetry titled Plum Poems. He also wrote a book of criticism, including Guston in Time: Remembering Philip Guston, and received a Pushcart Prize along with fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and the MacDowell Colony. Feld lived for many years in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he died in May 2001.
