Ross Anderson

Ross Anderson was a renowned British computer scientist and Professor of Security Engineering at the University of Cambridge, celebrated for founding the field of information security economics and authoring the standard textbook 'Security Engineering'. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society and made pioneering contributions to peer-to-peer networks, cryptographic protocols, and hardware tamper resistance before his unexpected death in 2024.
