Rosemary Wells

Rosemary Wells is an acclaimed American author and illustrator of children's books, known for using animal characters like Max & Ruby and Timothy to address real human issues. Born in New York City in 1943, she grew up on the New Jersey shore to a playwright father and ballet dancer mother who encouraged her artistic talents from age two.
