Rosemary Rogers

Rosemary Rogers (1932–2019) was a Sri Lankan Burgher author who revolutionized the historical romance genre with her 1974 debut, 'Sweet Savage Love,' earning her the title 'Queen of Historical Romance.' Known for her passionate and often controversial bodice-ripper novels, she became one of Avon's most bestselling authors, with her works translated into over eleven languages.
