Rose Rwakasisi

Rose Rwakasisi (born 1945) is a Ugandan author, editor, short story writer, curriculum developer, and educator known for her contributions to children's literature and biology textbooks.[1][2] She began her writing career in 1993 with 'How Friends Became Enemies' after sharing oral tradition stories with her children, and has since published works like 'The Great Escape' and stories in Femrite anthologies; she holds a degree in botany and zoology.[1][2] A retired teacher who served as deputy head at schools including Old Kampala Secondary School, she now directs St. Luke Secondary Schools in Kisenyi and continues teaching Biology, earning recognition from the National Book Trust of Uganda.[1][2][4]
