Ronnie Cummins

Ronnie Cummins was the founder and director of the Organic Consumers Association (OCA), a U.S.-based nonprofit network of 850,000 consumers dedicated to safeguarding organic standards and promoting sustainable agriculture.[1][2] Active as a writer and activist since the 1960s, he led campaigns on human rights, anti-war efforts, environmental issues, and against GMOs, and served as International Director of OCA and its Mexico affiliate Via Organica.[1][5] He passed away on April 26, 2023, at age 77 from complications of bone and lymph cancer.[3][5]
