Roman Wyrzykowski

Roman Wyrzykowski (1922-2000) was a Polish physicist, academic, and Solidarity activist. He participated in the Warsaw Uprising during World War II, losing a leg from wounds, and later became a professor at the Higher Pedagogical School in Rzeszów, specializing in theoretical physics and acoustics. He co-founded the Solidarity committee at his institution and the Polish Ecological Club in Rzeszów.
