Roger Wood

Roger Wood is a British author and historian specializing in military history, particularly the evolution of infantry brigade command in the British Army during World War I. He earned a PhD from the University of Wolverhampton in 2021 and published his doctoral thesis as a book that won the 2024 Chappel Prize. Wood currently divides his time between writing and serving as a trustee and school governor.
