Roger Lewis

Roger Lewis is a Welsh academic, biographer, and journalist best known for his acclaimed biographies including The Life and Death of Peter Sellers (1994) and Erotic Vagrancy (2023), a joint biography of Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor.[1] Born in Caerphilly, Glamorgan, he was educated at the University of St Andrews and Magdalen College, Oxford, later becoming a Fellow of Wolfson College, Oxford, and contributing to publications like the Daily Mail and Daily Telegraph.[1] His works on figures such as Charles Hawtrey, Anthony Burgess, and Laurence Olivier have reinvented the genre with innovative styles tailored to their subjects.[1][3]
