Roger E. Bilstein

Roger E. Bilstein is an Emeritus Professor of History at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, specializing in American history, aviation, and international relations. Born in 1937 in Hyannis, Nebraska, he earned a B.A. in European history from Doane College in 1959, an M.A. from Ohio State University in 1960, and a Ph.D. in 1965. He authored notable works such as *The Enterprise of Flight* and *Flight in America, 1900-1983: From the Wrights to the Astronauts*.
