Roger C Taylor

Roger C. Taylor was a nautical author and publisher who founded International Marine Publishing Company in Camden, Maine, in 1969, specializing in books on sailing, cruising, yacht design, and boat building. He authored nine books including Elements of Seamanship and the Good Boats series, and his final work was a two-volume biography of L. Francis Herreshoff published in 2018 and 2020. Taylor graduated from Harvard in 1953, served in the U.S. Navy, and earned a Master's in Journalism from Boston University before his career in marine publishing.[1][3][6]
