Rodney Scott

Rodney Scott is an American chef and whole hog barbecue pitmaster born in Philadelphia and raised in Hemingway, South Carolina, where he began cooking barbecue over wood coals at age 11 with his family.[2][3] In 2017, he opened Rodney Scott’s BBQ in Charleston, South Carolina, earning the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Southeast in 2018 and publishing his cookbook *Rodney Scott’s World of BBQ* in 2021.[2][3][4]
