Rochelle Johnson

Rochelle L. Johnson is a writer, teacher, editor, and scholar of natural history and the environmental humanities who serves as Professor of English and Environmental Studies at The College of Idaho, holding the Bernie McCain Chair in the Humanities[2][3]. Her work includes scholarly essays on the environmental humanities and creative essays exploring living with disability, and she is completing a memoir about recovering from amputation while researching an early female naturalist[3][4]. She also serves as president of the Thoreau Society and writes regular columns for the organization[4].
