Robin W. Baird
Robin W. Baird is a research biologist at Cascadia Research Collective, specializing in cetacean behavior, ecology, and management, with a focus on killer whales in British Columbia and Washington state, as well as Hawaiian odontocetes. He earned his Ph.D. in Biology from Simon Fraser University in 1994 and completed a Post-doctoral Fellowship at Dalhousie University from 1996 to 1999. Baird has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications, two books including 'Killer Whales of the World' (2002) and 'The Lives of Hawai‘i’s Dolphins and Whales' (2016), and serves as an editor for Endangered Species Research.
