Robin Cook

Robert Brian 'Robin' Cook (born May 4, 1940) is an American physician and novelist best known for pioneering the medical thriller genre with his 1977 bestseller Coma. A graduate of Wesleyan University and Columbia University Medical School, he has authored over 40 novels addressing medicine, public health, and ethical issues, with books selling nearly 400 million copies worldwide. He divides his time between homes in Florida, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts.
