Roberta Lane
Roberta Lane (1934–2026) was a lifelong educator and community advocate who taught English, Social Studies, and Reading to middle school students at Bowling Green Junior High School from 1968 to 1994, and later taught methods and supervised student teachers at Bowling Green State University. She was known for her strong advocacy for education and equality, serving in leadership roles with the Bowling Green City Schools, Women's Club of Bowling Green, First United Methodist Church, and Children's Resource Center. She also authored a guide on natural healing and herbal medicine.
