Robert Wood Williamson

Robert Wood Williamson (1856–1932) was a British ethnographer and former solicitor who developed a fascination for anthropology and archaeology at a young age, studying at Oxford University. His ethnographic knowledge was formed through his association with the field dating from 1908, and he left behind a significant collection of manuscripts on Polynesian problems, many of which were published posthumously.
