Robert V. Ricard

Robert Ricard (1900–1984) was a French historian and Hispanist who specialized in the study of colonial administration in Latin America, particularly Mexico and Brazil. He was a professor at the University of Paris and directed the Institut d'Études Hispaniques, contributing significantly to postcolonial studies and the history of evangelization in the Americas.
