Robert K. Tanenbaum was an American trial attorney, novelist, and former mayor of Beverly Hills, California. He built a legal career as an assistant district attorney in New York, later serving in high-profile investigations and drawing on that experience to write bestselling legal thrillers, especially the Butch Karp and Marlene Ciampi series.
