Robert Sheckley

Robert Sheckley was an American science fiction writer known for his unpredictable, absurdist, and comical stories and novels first published in the 1950s. Nominated for Hugo and Nebula Awards, he was named Author Emeritus by the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America in 2001[1].
