Robert Pascall
Robert Pascall (1944–2018) was a British musicologist, academic, and editor best known for his scholarship on Johannes Brahms. He studied at Oxford, taught for many years at the University of Nottingham and Bangor University, and also held an honorary professorship at Cambridge. His work ranged from analytical writing to critical editions of music, with a special focus on Brahms and other composers from Bach to Schoenberg.
