Robert P. Gilbert

Robert Pertsch Gilbert was a mathematician born on January 8, 1932, in the Bronx, New York. He grew up with his younger sister Ann and parents Ralph and Ruth (Pertsch) Gilbert, and his work was honored with a mathematics publication at the University of Delaware.
