Robert McCord

Robert S. McCord was a journalist, photographer, reporter, editor, and newspaper owner known for his crusading work on public policy and government integrity in Arkansas. He was principally responsible for the passage of the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act in 1967, one of the strongest such laws in the nation, which passed without dissent and was signed by Governor Winthrop Rockefeller.[1]
