Robert Kershaw

Robert Kershaw is a British military historian and author who joined the Parachute Regiment in 1973 and served for 33 years, reaching the rank of Colonel with active service in Northern Ireland, the First Gulf War, and Bosnia.[1] After retiring from the Army in 2006, he became a full-time author of military history, having written twelve books, and is recognized as a major military historian who combines narrative history with analysis drawn from his decades of military service.[1][2]
