Robert J Chandler

Robert J. Chandler (1942–2019) was an American historian and author best known for his work on California history, especially 19th-century topics such as the Civil War, journalism, finance, and transportation. He served for 32 years as senior research historian for Wells Fargo Bank and also held leadership roles with the Book Club of California. [1][2][4]
