Robert Hunter
Robert C. Christie Hunter (born Robert Burns) was an American lyricist, singer-songwriter, translator, and poet, best known for his work with the Grateful Dead. He wrote lyrics to numerous signature songs including "Dark Star," "Ripple," "Truckin'," and "Terrapin Station." Hunter was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 as the only non-performing band member ever to be included, and also published several poetry books and collaborated with other notable musicians.
