Robert F. Pennell

Robert Franklin Pennell (1850–1905) was an American educator and classicist who graduated from Harvard University in 1871 with a degree in classics. He served as president of the Stockton, California schools from 1890 to 1893 and as president of Chico State Normal School from 1893 to 1897, while also authoring influential works on ancient history and classical languages.
