Robert F Dorr

Robert F. Dorr (1939–2016) was an American author and retired senior diplomat who published over 70 books, hundreds of short stories, and numerous articles on international affairs, military issues, the Vietnam War, aviation history, and aerospace.[1][2] He published his first story at age 16, served in the U.S. Air Force, and spent 24 years as a Foreign Service Officer while continuing to write extensively.[2][3] Dorr contributed columns to Military Times and Aerospace America, served as technical editor for Air Power History, and appeared as an expert on CNN, C-SPAN, and other networks.[1][3]
