Robert Edwords Moritz

Robert Edouard Moritz (1868–1940) was a German-American mathematician who published about 75 books and papers. Born in Schleswig-Holstein, he emigrated to the United States at age twelve, settling on a farm in Nebraska, and later served as head of the mathematics department at the University of Washington for over 30 years. He died in Seattle, Washington, at the age of 72.
