Robert Edmond Alter

Robert Edmond Alter was an American author born in San Francisco, known for his work in crime fiction, science fiction, fantasy, and children's literature. He wrote notable novels such as Swamp Sister, Carny Kill, and the posthumously published Path to Savagery (1969), which was adapted into the film Ravagers (1979).
