Robert E Kowalski

Robert E. Kowalski (1942–2007) was an American medical journalist and best-selling author who gained national prominence in 1987 with the publication of 'The 8-Week Cholesterol Cure,' which remained on the New York Times bestseller list for a record-breaking 115 weeks. After suffering a heart attack and triple bypass at age 35, he researched natural methods to reduce cholesterol and developed his signature regimen using niacin and oat bran. He authored numerous health-related books and became a prominent speaker and lecturer on nutrition and diet.
