Robert Durie Osborn

Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Durie Osborn (1835–1889) was a British army officer born in Agra, India. He served in the British East India Company's forces, following in the footsteps of his father, Henry Roche Osborn, who was a lieutenant-colonel in the Native Infantry. Osborn is also known as an author of works such as a guide to lawn tennis from the late 19th century.
