Robert Donington

Robert Donington (1907-1990) was a British musicologist and harpsichordist, best known for his extensive work on the performance practices of early music. His research and writings significantly influenced the historically informed performance movement, particularly regarding the interpretation of Baroque music. He was also a respected teacher and performer.
