Robert Blake

Robert Blake, born Michael James Gubitosi, was an American actor who began his career as a child star in the Our Gang (Little Rascals) series in the late 1930s and 1940s. He gained critical acclaim for his role as murderer Perry Smith in the 1967 film In Cold Blood and won an Emmy Award for his portrayal of Detective Tony Baretta in the 1970s TV series Baretta. Later in life, he faced high-profile legal troubles, including being acquitted of murdering his wife Bonny Lee Bakley in 2005 but found liable in a wrongful death civil suit.
