Robert Bernard Anderson
Robert Bernard Anderson was an American businessman, lawyer, and politician who served as U.S. Secretary of the Navy from 1953 to 1954 and as U.S. Secretary of the Treasury from 1957 to 1961 under President Dwight D. Eisenhower. He was born in Burleson, Texas, and later became one of Eisenhower’s close confidants; he died in 1989 in New York City.
