Robert A. Monroe

Robert A. Monroe (1915–1995) was an American radio broadcasting executive and entrepreneur who became known for his books on out-of-body experiences and for founding The Monroe Institute. His 1971 book "Journeys Out of the Body" helped popularize the term "out-of-body experience" and introduced his work on consciousness exploration to a wide audience.
